Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Try a sweet chocolaty twist on an old favorite
Tasty 'Chocolate Chip Pancakes'
Ingredients
Four Table spoons of unsalted butter
One cup of milk (can use low fat if preferred)
One and a quarter cups of all purpose flower flour
one tablespoon of sugar
4 teaspoons of baking powder
Three quarters of a teaspoon of salt
Two medium sized eggs
About six ounces of semisweet chocolate chips (can adjust to taste if too much)
Got your stuff together? Then lets get cooking your chocolate treat!
How it's done
Blend the milk and butter in a little saucepan.
Gently heat until the butter has melted then leave to cool a little.
Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl
Using a large mixing bowl and fork, whisk the eggs and then whisk in the
milk butter mixture.
Add the flour sugar mix and stir until just slightly blended.
Stir in your tasty chocolate chips. (no eating!!!)
heat up a griddle or large skillet on medium heat.
Melt a teaspoon of butter until bubbly.
Pour about three tablespoons of the mixture onto the heated area and cook until bubbly on the surface and golden brown underneath.
Just keep going until you run out of batter. ahhh!
Serve it up whilst it's hot.
Try not to eat them all at once!
